About

Pin and String is an online investigation board — a digital corkboard of clues for your games and stories.

Pin and String is an online investigation board (evidence corkboard) for your games and stories. Pin photos and documents, scribble clues on sticky notes and index cards, then connect them with red thread — just like the detective walls from movies. Use it for tabletop RPGs, murder-mystery nights, LARP briefings, true-crime podcasts, novel plotting, or any campaign where players follow leads. No install required: open the board in your browser, drop images, and start connecting the dots. Supporters on Patreon unlock cloud saves and an ad-free workspace.

Anyone can use the board in the browser without an account. Supporters on Patreon unlock an ad-free experience and the ability to save boards to the cloud.
